Now, we may have seen you in the past months where you would have spent a few weeks with us to learn all the basics of yoga. And we hope that you have gone a step further in spreading this knowledge to make a difference around you.

To deepen your knowledge of adjustment, our Yoga Anatomy and adjustment & alignment classes give you a perspective of how yoga affects the body.
Our pranayama and meditation sessions cover different breathing techniques that are useful for one’s peace of mind. The chants are made to further aid in bringing peace to your mind, body, and soul. We also include cleansing practices and laughing yoga to help with this. For an even broader understanding of the history of yoga and how it can positively impact your life, our philosophy classes cover the development of yoga ethics and living.
Finally, we include in your 300 hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, a course on teaching methodology. Here, we refine your teaching skills. We teach you how to develop your “teaching voice”, prepare for class, improve your confidence, and build in yourself, the qualities of a teacher.
You get a one-day and another half-day off each week when you can visit local attractions, and indulge in activities like white water rafting in the Ganges and a trip to the beautiful Himalayan Mountains.
The main objective of our course is to allow you to develop a self-practice for both sprituallly and physically in each of the area listed below.
Pranayama (yogic breathing): Here the students will learn the clear concepts and practices of Pranayama including different breathing exercises mentioned in Hatha yoga & Kumbhaka (breath retention) with benefits and contra-indications.
The sanskrit word Mudra is translated as Gesture or attitude.. Hand gestures is an ancient aspect of yoga. The practice of Mudra (Gesture) effects the energy flow of the body and can change a persons mental & spritual characteristics.
The word Bandha means Hold or Lock. The practice of Bandhas strengthens the entire body from the inside out.The main aim of bandha is to lock the pranas in the particular parts of the body so the prana can flow into the Main nadi name Sushumna nadi for the purpose of spritual awakening.
Shatkarma (Cleansing Process): Shatkarma is six yogic cleansing techniques for purifying the tissues and organ systems while bringing harmony in their functioning in the most simple and natural manner. Our Shatkarma class will cover:
Mantra Yoga: Tools For Freedom And Perfection.
The courses are on a first-come, first-serve basis. So, the faster you apply, the more quickly you will be able to join the course. Sometimes the availability of free seats depends on seasons as well.
The yoga TTC course covers all the theoretical and practical classes about asana, pranayama, and meditation. It also covers meditation, anamoly of body, and many more.
Yes, one can extend their stay on the program. But this extension depends on the availability of seats and rooms. But one must keep in mind that this will not be included in the initial course fee.
You can, but it is preferred not to take. This is because a pregnant woman should not face the rigorous training of the course.
Hi ... A few month back I have attended a few drop in classes there and I really like the way they teach and yes the energy of that place is very good.
I'm so grateful that I found this school. Everybody takes care of you and want that you have a good time. Small groups and the teachers are great! The food ist very delicious! The hotel staff is also very helpful and friendly. And the most beautiful thing is that everyone is on the same level and it is not like in school. It is like family. Everybody share the knowledge and give it to you. Thank you for everything!
Vinyasa Yogashala was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so pleased I decided to go to this school. The teachers are incredibly kind and patient when teaching to ensure you get a full understanding, the yoga classes are dynamic but leave you feeling amazing after and you learn so much during them. The school has a lovely laid back feel and everyone from the manager to the cooks and cleaning staff are welcoming and sociable. And last but not least, the location is wonderful, with beautiful views and close to lots of lovely stores and the river, it’s perfect! Thanks again Vinyasa Yogashala!
Truly was all I could have hoped for out of the experience. The environment, the wonderful teachers, the fellow students, the challenges and the wins have given me memories I won't forget. Vinyasa Yoga Shala has opened my eyes to depth of the yogic practice. Thank you.
